An independent maker collective: 3D printing, websites and apps through Studio 212, robotics, and the Squirrel Works R&D lab. Engineered in-house, owned by the people who build it.
Every division shares the same tools and the same workspace, under one rule: whoever builds it owns it.

Websites and apps for small businesses, makers, and creators. Designed, built, and launched by people who answer their own email.
Our research & development division: AI assistants, companion robotics, and the experiments that become tomorrow's products. Home of KD-X.
Korns Industries Robotics: mechanical design, motion control, and embedded electronics. Where prototypes become machines that walk, roll, and respond.
KD-X runs the Empathetic Response Protocol. It combines facial expression, tone of voice, and the content of speech to estimate how someone is feeling, then chooses an appropriate response. The goal is a companion, closer to a loyal dog than a chatbot.
How it works
Hardware
A legged companion chassis, 3D-printed in-house in PLA and flexible TPU, with roll motors, a sculpted head, and an onboard speaker.
Divisions involved
Korns Industries gives independent builders the resources to succeed, without asking them to give up their work in exchange.
Your idea, your client, your name on it. We provide the place for it to happen.
Printers, the robotics bench, and shared tools and compute, available wherever you work.
You own what you build. A share flows back to cover the overhead that keeps the lights on.
Joining is by invitation. Start with an email, and tell us what you build.
